Product information "Dante's Peak – Special Edition mit Full Slip (4K Ultra HD Blu-ray + Blu-ray)"

Synopsis:
When the volcano Dantes Peak erupts, an idyllic vacation town turns into a death trap. A torrent of rock, lava, and ash crashes down upon the city with merciless force. It is too late for an evacuation - chaos and panic rule the streets. Seismologist Harry Dalton and Mayor Rachel Wando fight for survival amid the catastrophe as roads, bridges, and houses are reduced to rubble within seconds. Every escape route becomes a trap, every mistake fatal. Only courage and determination will decide who survives the inferno ...

DANTES PEAK, starring Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton, is being released on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc following a brand-new 4K restoration of the original camera negative (OCN) by Turbine.

Thanks to close collaboration with director Roger Donaldson and DoP Andrzej Bartkowiak, the 90s blockbuster now shines in perfect 4K image quality. The package is further enhanced by a thunderous Dolby Atmos mix in German and English—approved by Roger Donaldson.

The Special Edition comes in a keep case with a full slipcover and includes 75 minutes of archival bonus material.
